Jack Garfein, Actor Trainer & Director

Legendary Hollywod acting coach and former head of the Actors Studio in Los Angeles, Jack Garfein has discovered many great actors, including James Dean and Steve McQueen. He has worked with Robert De Niro, Dustin Hoffman, Elizabeth Taylor and Marlon Brando.

In January 2007, the BA Film and Video students of the London College of Communication were electrified when Garfein led a unique series of masterclasses. He helped them to gain an insight into the acting process and develop their skills in directing. The masterclasses were so successful that Garfein is returning to work with the students again in November 2007.

Jack runs the Paris-based Le Studio. He teaches in Paris, London, Budapest and Los Angeles.
